How do I get my blog to resume playing my video content properly?
-
My blog was functioning correctly for quite some time, then all of a sudden the majority of my post or rather links to the video ftg. all had a flag which reads…”sorry, because of it’s privacy settings this video can’t be played here.” And a tab which links to Vimeo where one can view the content. I know that I’ve taken off any and all privacy settings on Vimeo so that wordpress should function. Please advise me. Thx.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Here are the links, please note that on some of the pages, there may be 1 or 2 of the video content available, but as you proceed down the page, you’ll notice that the remainder of the content isn’t available.
Thank you.

What is see on the videos is this:
Sorry
Because of its privacy settings, this video cannot be played here.I think this is could be an https:// issue and Staff have been implementing http:// protocol on all .wordpress.com URLs. I tagged this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

Thank you kindly. I thought I had subscribed? But I’ll attempt to subscribe once again. Nevertheless, thank you.

Just to be sure, can you follow these directions to make sure your videos are set to “Anyone – Allow anyone to see this video.” and “Anywhere – Enable people to embed this video on any site”?
The errors on your page aren’t ones we usually see when there’s an issue with https, but once you confirm those two settings, I’ll dig into the https possibility.
For reference, this is the post I grabbed for testing, so maybe check its settings first?

Good Day.
Thanks for getting back to me. I guess in response to your statement that this or rather these issues aren’t commonly experienced by you and WordPress, I should reply that I strive to be unique. However, this wasn’t something done to garner attention. That said, I have made sure that the content is made available for all to see/view. This was done before writing to you, et al.
Again, thank you.

Hello,
I wanted to check back in and see if any determination as how to resolve my issue, which apparently has to do with WordPress and it’s https protocols than any particular error on my part?
Please advise.
Thx,

Thanks for checking that out. I just tested your video embed code from the post I linked above on my test site:
I’m getting same error, and my site is not being served over https yet. The error I’m seeing in the console is:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)This type of ‘Forbidden’ error usually means that the service is blocking us, which is usually related to privacy settings in cases like this. Can you contact Vimeo about this and see if they can take a look at your settings?

Thank you for your prompt reply. I’ve sent off an e-mail describing in detail the issue/s, along with supporting links to the problem pages… all.
Once I hear back and something’s been determined &/or resolved I’ll reach back out.
Again, thank you.
