How do I get my domain back ?

    Hi I was trying to transfer my domain to shopify but it was locked so I then cancelled the domain to repurchase it and move it to shopify but now it’s not available, is there anyway I can get my domain back and have it transferred to shopify ?

    Hello!

    Thank you for getting in touch. If you’ve recently canceled a domain, please note that it might not be immediately available for purchase elsewhere. When you purchase a new domain, there’s a mandatory 60-day transfer lock imposed by ICANN, which we are unable to waive.

    Typically, after about five days from cancellation, the domain may become available again. If no one else purchases it in the meantime, you can acquire it through another provider.

    Based on our records, it seems the domain has been released, so you should be able to repurchase it if it’s still up for grabs.
