How do I get my domain released?

  I mistakenly paid for a domain address on WordPress when I was just trying to reactivate my site on another hosting platform. I do not want to have to wait 60 days if I can avoid it, is there any way to have my domain name released so my site can be activated with the correct domain name on my other hosting platform?? Thank you

  I was in a similar situation. You don’t really need to transfer the domain to your other host to use it.

  If you still want to transfer the domain, there’s no way but to wait for 60 days. The 60-day wait period is required by ICANN.

  The domain you canceled yesterday will be released by the end of this week and then you’ll be able to register it again through the provider of your choice.
