How do I get my edits to be accepted?

None of the changes I am making are being reflected in my site. I am trying to reorder pages, rename them and get my blog (front page) to be linked to page named blog. None of your FAQs help; I am getting very frustrated, having worked on this for three days and need to launch next week. where can I go to get better help in working in the word press environment than this “help” section; where do I go for trouble shooting these types of problems. And how can I fix this????

I have seen the wordpress page on “front page”. . .and it is not working for me. When I initially set up the site, the blog was the front page. Then I decided to have a static front page and have the blog on another page. Now I want to return it to the way it was, but I cannot get the site to respond to my entries. . .The blog posts are on the front page, but when you click on the first nav tab that says blog, it give an empty page, how do I reconnect them.

That’s just a page that you titled “Blog.”
Now that the blog its your front page, it’s not a physical page.
Instead, go to Appearance -> Menus in your blog’s Dashboard, delete the “Blog” menu item, then add a Custom Link titled Blog with a link to http://elephantsforever.net/
