How do I get my EPP code to transfer domain?

    Hi I currently host my domain name with wordpress, but would like to transfer it.
    I’ve been asked for my EPP code. I tried following the wordpress help to send an authorisation code to myself by email.
    I’m not sure if that is the same as the EPP code, but either ways, it doesn’t seem to have sent it to my email also.
