How do I get my expired domain back???

  • Unknown's avatar

My domain has expired, and when I tried to re-purchase it, it said it is already taken. But when I type in the domain that I want (ceramicportraiturns.com) into the URL search bar on my browser, it says that it cannot be found or is not available. How do I get it back???? Help!

    Hi there,

It looks like the domain ceramicportraiturns.com is in a status called “PendingDelete” with the registry. This means that it expired so long ago that it has already gone all of the way through its expiration process and is just about to be released back to the general public (which will happen in the next few days).

As soon as it does, you can re-register it for the original price either with us or with another registrar.

Thank you for the response. How do I know exactly when it gets released?

This is a case wherein you’ll need to check regularly with any domain search to see if the domain is available for purchase and as soon as it purchase it. If you so choose, some domain registrars offer a service which will, on an automated basis, search for domains and purchase them as soon as they become available. This service comes at a fee, however if it is important to you, you may want to consider that option!
