how do I get my featured image to show when I share my blog URL to Facebook?

  I have set a featured image but it is not showing when I share my blog URL to Facebook. The image square is blank. I am using the Resonar theme. What can I do? The link has already been shared on Facebook.

  We have no control over the images that Facebook or any other social networks chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.
