How do I get my images to fit?

  The images I’m using are not being scaled to fit the image section of the template I’m using, so a good portion of the image is lost. Any suggestions to rectify? Thanks in advance.

  Please use an image editor to edit the images prior to uploading so they are the sizes required by your theme. Or upload them and use this image editor https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/editing-an-image/

  The recommended Featured Image size is 1200 wide.
  The recommended Custom Header image size is 1200 wide and 280px height.
