How do i get my images visible in boxes for my projects in Port theme?
-
The images are hidden (just see text) in each of my different project boxes until i click on the box and it opens to the image. I want it the other way around …where images are first visible and then when you click on it, text shows up…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Do you mean the boxes on your site’s home page? I just took a look, and I see the images first. When I hover, I see the text appear over the image. They look to me like the boxes under “Recent Projects” on the Port theme demo here:

Are you seeing something different there? Or is it a different part of the site that you’re looking at?

Thank you…I found where i could upload a thumbnail image for each “project”.
I have another question now. I am having difficulty with my large header picture on the home page. When i have the “customize” window open my picture aligns how i want it to look. When i close up this customize window…the picture shifts and cuts off the bottom of image. I have saved it numerous times trying to get it to show correctly. Any suggestions?
Thank you! -
This has to do with how the Port theme displays that header image in different-sized browser windows. On smaller browser windows, the entire image will be displayed. On wider browser windows, the image gets bigger to fill the width of the window while the bottom of the image is cropped to fit the height of the window. You can try making your browser window bigger or smaller, to see how the image changes.
If you have any other questions or concerns about how that works, I’d recommend contacting the theme author directly by posting in the Port support forum here:

Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
