How do I get my landing page contents to appear automatically on logon ?

I accidentally deleted the contents of my landing page, called in spanish INICIO. I undid and the page was restored. Before my mistake when I loged on as a user those contents appeard automatically, but now “NOTHING FOUND” appears and the tab INICIO is not highlighted. What am I missing ? please help.
