How do I get my new posts to post to the page I want them to go on?

  I am trying to get a new post (Yield) to post on my page ‘Journal and Thoughts’. When I posted it, instead of putting it on a page, it put the article in a ‘category’ called ‘uncategorized’ and told me I had just published my first post when it is in fact my fourth article and my sixth post. My ‘pages’ describe the type of articles (‘categories’) that are (to be) posted there. Then, when I preview my writing I am getting ads flying up from the bottom, search requests flying out from the left side, and words underlined in my article that pop up ads for other things. This is really getting quite frustrating.

  Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Internet Explorer or Google Chrome? Please also disable any browser extensions or add-ons.
