how do I get my photos back?

I lost all my photos on my website. I was trying to remove one photo from my header, (I right clicked and somehow chose an option to open a screen to delete what I thought was one photo…) and I managed to delete them all somehow. I do not know how to get them back, or when I do, how to just remove one header photo from my theme. Please help!

If you just deleted the images from a blog post, they may still be in your media library. You can check in your Dashboard > Media > Library to see if the images are still there.
However, it appears your site raftertrranch.com is a self-hosted WordPress site running WordPress.org. That means we cannot provide direct support for that site, or check your Media Library on your behalf.
Just to be sure, I also checked your Media Library on rvalliere.wordpress.com, and there are a lot of photos there, so I assume that wasn’t the site you were worried about.

yes well, it is on the raftertrranch site that i did this… and i now have done as you suggested and looked in my library…. they are ‘listed’ there but no thumbnails appear as in my other blogsite. they do not show up! its so weird

However I think I have figured out how to delete the photo I wanted to delete from my media library… now if i can only get ALL my photos back and to show up I will be happy!

You images might still be in ‘Trash’. Please read this guide to learn more about Trash. If you remove an image from ‘Media’ -> ‘Library’ in your blog’s dashboard it will also be removed as your header.
