how do i get my posts to appear on a page

i post and it goes on the front screen, but I would like to tell it to appear on a particular page. so that I have all my gardening posts together and all my recipes together on their relevant page. thanks

You can add the posts to a category(in you case in a garden category) and then add the garden category link to the menu bar using custom links so that all the posts related to gardening appears on a single page.You can follow the instructions given here to create category pages:
