How do I get my RSS widget to work so that friends can subscribe to my blog?

  Whenever I install the ‘RSS Links’ widget, when I actually visit the blog and click on the ‘rss’ icon, i just see a bunch of code.

  I tested my feed site (www.charlescausey.wordpress.com/feed) but again, there is not a feed page there.

  Please help and thank you!

  This is actually how RSS usually looks – though some browsers show an option to subscribe to it.

  An easier way to offer subscriptions is with the email subscription widget. This will let visitors to your site subscribe to receive email notifications about new posts.
