How do I get my site back?

  My domain expired at the end of May, I got it back today, only to find that it said it was not able to be viewed, disconnected or something.

  Please help, I need the content of my blog back in some form, if I’m not able to get it back to how it used to be.

  The sites were: mikaelawrites.com and/or mikaelawrites.wordpress.com

  I bought the domain name from GoDaddy.

  I’m no techie, so layman terms for me please.

  Thank you – I appreciate any help I can get.

  I tried reconnected it, but instead I seem to have just made the situation worse.
