How do I get my slider to change images automatically? (It did this previously)

I am using the Twenty Fourteen theme and about a week ago my slider used to change automatically, now it doesn’t. I don’t recall making any changes to the slider so I feel like something must have changed with the theme. If there is some way to fix this, please let me know.

Hi there,
The slider should not have changed automatically as the auto-advance function was purposely left out of the theme by the authors. The reasoning was that this behavior was very negatively reviewed by accessibility and usability professionals as stated by the theme author here. Unfortunately, this cannot be changed on WordPress.com.
