How do I get my twitter button to work?

My Twitter button that is beneath the “search” box on my website is not working. When people click on it, it leads to an error message. I’ve put a “follow us on twitter” coding link under my “welcome” message temporarily –it looks very awkward. Can you please help me to make my twitter button work or put this follow button in a logical place where it shows up throughout the entire site. Urgh. I have tried everything.

Your twitter URL is not entered properly at Appearance → Theme Options.
You’ve entered http://@Diversekidreads but this isn’t a URL. I suspect your actual Twitter URL would be: https://twitter.com/Diversekidreads

Can I ask you another question? If you look at my site you’ll notice that I’ve started putting the “follow us on twitter” button on every blog post. I’m just pasting in the code for that. Is there code I can past in for follow this blog so they have button there prompting them to sign up to receive emails.

Would you like to add a Follow Blog link right into your sidebar, so you don’t have to paste it into every post? That way, it will be accessible to your visitors, no matter where they are on your site.
