How do I get my WordPress account back?

  Hi, everyone. I have a WordPress account with the username being “soldierofchrist777”. And someone has stolen it from me by illegally accessing it and changing the password and the email address in my profile to (email visible only to moderators and staff). Is there a way you guys can change the email back to the original one? I am happy to provide you with evidence if needed (by private contact). Please help me get it back. Thank you in advance.

  This support forum is for WordPress.com hosted blogs only. If you have a self-hosted WordPress blog you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums, not here.

  Not quite – they guessed your password. There is no other way.

  Please contact Support – link at the bottom of this page – with preferably the full email we sent when you made the account. You do have to absolutely prove ownership though.
