How do I get my wordpress blog back on WordPress from my private domain name site?

  Years ago my boyfriend moved my wordpress blog from my wordpress address so it lived at ‘mydomainname’.com/blog. Now I’ve simplified my website by just using a portfolio site at my domain name. Ever since I’ve done that, my blog is gone! I’d like to just get it back to my original WordPress address but my boyfriend (now husband) forgets how :(. I know I’m not explaining this well. Any suggestions?! Thanks!
