How do I get my wordpress blog to open at correct address?

  I recently transferred my website URL (www.adoptionwrites.com)to GoDaddy because It had been opening to my blog instead of the website. Now my blog will not open-it does not appear at blog.adoptionwrites.com.
  GoDaddy says I need to “find my A record” by securing the IP address on wordpress.
  Help!
