How do I get nested pages to show up in Vigilance navigation bar?
-
Hola! I’m in the process of developing a personal branding business that uses the free WordPress.com platform for people starting out with a blogsite. I’d like to keep my website on the wordpress.com platform.
I have a number of pages that I’d like to have nested under one page called “personal branding services”. Right now I have set up one page, but it is not displaying in the navigation bar.
Is there some way to get nested pages to display on this bar without moving my blog into another hosting situation (in which case, I’d just use the Thesis theme I’m already running for other sites).
Thanks,
BethThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You don’t because that theme does not have dropdown menus coded into the underlying template for the theme. If you want that feature then you will have to switch to a theme that’s coded to provide it. iNove, Inuit Types, Monochrome, Neutra, Sandbox 1.6.1, and Titan have dropdowns to child pages from parent pages in the top horizontal menu.

If you do not wish to change themes then the only way to provide access to child pages (sub-pages) is to place a Pages widget in your sidebar. See > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/pages-widget/
