How do I get people to follow my private blog without signing up for an account?

  I have a private blog and have enabled the follow by email widget but when I send an invitation it still says the person must sign up for an account. Is there a way to keep the blog private but allow people to follow without signing up for account?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m afraid not. The only way the software can tell if a user is authorized to view your site is by verifying their login credentials, which means they have to have an account.
