How do I get posts to display on succeeding pages?

I have a home page set up, then a first (next) page of 3 posts that display fine. However I have more posts entered that won’t display on the second (next) page of posts. How do I get them to do so? I want to use the website to make available documents for students to read and/or download, not for blogging, so I’d like to be able to simply post documents and have them display, say, 3 at a time on succeeding pages automatically. Can you help me on this? Or perhaps I have to use a different theme from the one I’m using (DePo Masthead)?

    Hi there,

It looks like you’ve set a static front page, and a posts page already. You’ve also set your blog pages to display at most three posts.

These settings are at Settings → Reading in your dashboard.

Currently, you’ve set the page “Posts — First Page” as your posts page. You’ll probably want to change the name of this page to something like “Posts.”

This guide should help you sort this out:

You might also want to review this guide on the differences between posts and pages:

The theme you’re using, DePo Masthead, emphasizes the most recent posts, and displays the rest on archive pages. You might want to use the archives widget to display these archives:

Alternatively, you can select another theme from the Theme Showcase:
