  I have already gone to ‘settings’ and ‘readings’ and selelcted ‘new post appears first’. Nothing works. How do I make the new post appear first?

  I’ve followed all instructions to correct the above probelem. Even so, the same post always comes up first.

  You will want to being up that post in your edit screen and go to the Post Viibility setting. See this support document for how to do it.
