How do I get rid of an unwanted address without losing my blog name?

    I am having trouble with all the terminology. Inadvertently, I registered a domain with part of my personal email address in it. Now I would like to delete that and go with a different domain name. However, I am afraid to delete anything because I do not under any circumstances want to lose my blog name. Blog name, URL address, primary domain, username……………. it would help if I could see some kind of formulary where each of these important terms is listed, defined and then my own personal choices plugged in.
