How do I get rid of author and category on bottom of post?

I’ve just changed themes because couldn’t get the old one to do what I wanted. Now the new one has written by mylesformbyweddings and the category at the bottom of every post. How do I get rid of that? I just want it blank. And yes I tried logging out but it stil shows.
Also, I don’t want my links blue or underlined can I change that?

Changing link colors and hiding category and author would require the Custom Design Upgrade.
