how do I get rid of comments areas as they are on every page.

  COmments box appears on every page but I don’t need it. ALso how do I link the twitter icon to a twitter account. I ahve added two widgets but can’t see them

  Hi there,

  You can disable comments by following the instructions in this guide:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/

  As for your second question: It looks like you haven’t configured your widgets yet. Could you go to Appearance → Widgets, and click on the arrows to the right of your Facebook Like Box and Twitter widgets?

  After you’ve entered your information, please remember to save the widget by clicking on the Save button in each widget.

  thanks but cant see discussion boxes to check/uncheck. I go into the page I want the comment boxes removing from, click edit then go to the left menu and settings where I open up discussion. I have unchecked everything in the discussion menu but the comments box still appears.

  ALso- on the contact form it asks for e-mail and details. When you submit that form where does the message go to?

  The comment settings you’re referring to only control future posts.

  You’ll need to disable comments on the specific posts following the guide at http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/

  If you can’t find the Discussion Module on the post edit screen, follow the steps listed under “Can’t find the Discussion module?”

  I think it’s me but I need to get rid of the whole box where people can leave comments as I just want a plain web page, no fancy stuff.. I have found the discussion tick box on settings but it still appears on all pages except the first when I uncheck it.

  As mentioned in the guide, you’ll need to edit the specific page and remove the comment box. If you can’t find the described Discussion Module on the page edit screen, follow the steps listed under “Can’t find the Discussion module?” still on the guide linked to above.
