How do I get rid of content in a blog and start over again?

  I have two blogs: Blog #1 isn’t supposed to have anything on it yet because I haven’t developed it. Blog #2 is going well and I have been posting on it for a year. Along the way, I made mistakes and posted content to Blog #1 and then realized what I had done and posted it again on Blog #2. Now, I want to begin to develop Blog #1. How do I get rid of the content that was posted by accident there, so that I can start fresh? Also, can I change the name of Blog #1 as I begin to design it?

  You have two options for emptying blog content and retaining the blog URL.

  option 1
  Provided you are logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog, you can quickly remove your contents by deleting them in bulk.

  IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blog content does not remove it from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months. To completely remove an entire page from Google search results: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/1663419?hl=en

  option 2
  If you have lots of content and are willing to wait, Staff can empty the whole blog for you. That will remove all data including posts, pages, tags, categories, comments, and uploaded files and once deleted, the data cannot be recovered.

  If you are sure you want Staff to proceed, then type modlook into the tags in the sidebar for Staff attention and post again to this thread to:

  (1) confirm the URL of the blog you want them to empty;
  (2) confirm that you know content deletion is irreversible.
