how do I get rid of detritus from earlier template?

Below the ‘bottom’ of my site is a whole sh*tload of items put there when I changed templates. As you will easily understand, I NEED TO GET RID OF IT.
I have no idea how.

Took me only 2 years to work out it must all be in footers.
