How do I get rid of highlighted randomly-linked words in my post?

  Why are random words highlighted in my post. They seemed to be linked to commercial sites that I have no connection to or interest in. How do I make these links go away?

  Hello,
  Could you please post a link to the post/page you are seeing the highlighted words on? I took a quick look at your site and did not notice any highlighted words. If possible, please provide a screenshot as well.

  Thanks for looking into this for me. Here’s the link to the page I’m having trouble with: null

  This is probably the page you’ve already seen. Is it possible that this problem is only showing up when I open my own page?

  I have a screen shot, but I don’t see how to attach it to this message.

  Does this happens when you view any other sites? I did a bit of searching and found the following similar issues:

  1. http://wordpress.org/support/topic/stop-highlighted-textlinks-to-pop-up-ads
  2. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-security/i-have-random-words-in-all-websites-highlighted/42b655de-d042-48dd-a198-4a5d1dbefc11

  After reading these pages, I think it’s is possible that you may have a virus that is displaying links to ads in your browser. The best things to do would be to scan you system for such viruses and remove any that are discovered.
