How do I get rid of HTML text that appears on the published view of my blog?

  While adding the Text widget to my site, I ended up with HTML on the public page of my blog. I tried to get rid of it by deleting the Text widgets, but it will not go away.

  The networked blogs code was the problem, and I removed it. Everything should be ok now.
