How do I get rid of “Possibly related posts: (automatically generated)”?
-
Hello,
How do I get rid of ‘Possibly related posts: (automatically generated)’ listed at the bottom of my posts?
They’re from other sites and not related to my content at all!
Thanks.

Hi,
I have a question,is “Possibly related posts” only for English language?. My blog is in Spanish.
Thanks for your help.

“Right now this is just for English blogs, but we’re working on the technology to roll this out for every language we support. We’ll also be adding some ways for you to tweak the results to your liking.”

I believe it doesn’t matter what language your blog is in, you will still have that option.

If that is so, then they didn’t make an announcement about it. Perhaps that was wise because “possibly related posts” is controversial.
I like the part about adding some ways to tweak the results. That has not happened yet either.

I second the enthusiasm for tweaking. I posted something on Obama’s inauguration speech (hardly an obscure topic) and this feature put wildly irrelevant and borderline-incoherent posts in front of my readers — none of them more recent than mid-2008.
I know I can turn off the feature, but I hate to do that because it doesn’t always perform so badly. If I could turn it on or off on a post-by-post basis, that would be very useful.
Also, I notice that if I do hide “related posts,” then my blog will not appear in anyone else’s related posts. Could it be that the average quality of “related posts” is declining because bloggers who are embarrassed by the spotty results are opting out?
