How do I get rid of 'recent articles' and 'more articles' on my home page?

    1) I activated the featured post sticky slider on my home page but want to get rid of the ‘recent articles’ and ‘more articles’ and have the footer areas right under the slider.

    2) If I leave widget area 2 blank – where the twitter and fb feed are currently located – the entire page distorts and content is moved there from the footer areas. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

    PLEASE HELP!

    Hi there,

I’ve taken a look at your site and I see what you mean about the widget area. There does have to be a widget in the right-sidebar, however that can be just a text widget with a space in it and it will keep prevent other widgets from going in to that space.

I’ve put that text widget in that space for you so you can see what I mean, however your Twitter and Facebook widgets are still saved and can be put back at any time if you’d like. You will find them in the deactivated widgets section at the bottom of the widgets page!

In regards to your other question, there is no way to remove the recent and more articles sections from your home page if you are using the Showcase Page Template. That template re-inserts your blog posts underneath the slider, so there is no way to remove them.
