How do I get rid of Sketch theme's hamburger menu
-
I just started using the Sketch theme, and I am quite happy with almost everything about this theme, except I can’t get rid of the hamburger menu!
I need to have a couple of menu items, outside of the hamburger. How do I do that? Do I have to tinker with the CSS or there is a php template for that?

I must say, I’ve never heard to the menu icon referred as a “hamburger” before.
We don’t have FTP access on WordPress.com, so a php template won’t help you. http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
The only way to make this change, if possible, is via CSS and you’ll need the Custom Design upgrade to do that.
You can post your question in the CSS customisation forum for info on what code will be needed to make this change: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform
See here for more info on the custom design upgrade:

Your answer made me curious so I checked on my private test blog. The menu gets hidden if I resize my browser window to around 1265 pixels wide, which is still quite wide. -
So, probably the OP has a screen smaller than 1281px, which is why they don’t see the wide menu?
BTW is “hamburger” the actual term used to refer to the hidden menu? Just curious.
