How do I get rid of that WordPress paragraph at the bottom of my first post?

  I put up my first blog posting last night and was surprised to see that the WordPress paragraph beginning with “Hello World” is still hanging around. How do I get rid of it?

  It looks like the “Hello World!” is still there as a published post, separate from the post you published last night. You can remove it from your site by going to your Dashboard -> Posts page and clicking on the Trash link under your “Hello World!” post:

  Delete a Page or Post
