how do I get rid of the comments field on my page

  how do I get rid of the comments field on my page, I’m on wordpress.com and have tried to create a static “welcome” page with Nisihita. I have two problems: 1. I can’t get rid of the comments field at the bottom of the page

  2. I want an “enter.button” on my static page made with nishita,(or preferrably two; one for an English site, and one in Swedish,) but I have no idea how to do that. Ialso need instructions on how to link the static FrontPage to the next page via the “enter-buttons”

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  1. I can’t get rid of the comments field at the bottom of the page

  You can remove that comments section by editing that page. In the page editor, you can look for the “Discussion” module and uncheck the box next to “Allow comments” there. (In Swedish that’s the “Diskussion” module and the setting is “Tillåt kommentarer.”)

  If you don’t see the Discussion module there, you may need to enable it in the Screen Options (Panelinställningar) in the upper right. Make sure the box next to “Discussion”/”Diskussion” is checked — that will make the discussion settings appear in the editor you can change them.

  At WordPress.com, there isn’t a way to create an “Enter” button for your site that’s separate from your static front page. You could add a button like that as an image on your static front page, and link it to another page on your site. However, you can only have one front page — there isn’t a way to have a page with a button that leads to another static front page.

  Can you describe exactly how you want it to look in the end? That might help me see if there’s another way you can set up your site the way you’d like it.
