How do I get rid of the Comments option?

    HI!

    I’m trying to get rid of the option to leave a comment at the bottom of pages. I’ve gone into settings and turned off discussions, and I’ve gone to every page and manually turned off the comments and discussion option, but it is still there. Did I miss something? Is it the theme I’ve chosen? Just looking for a little nudge in the right direction.

    Hi there!

    Just looked at your page editors and the “allow comments” option still appears to be checked. Is it possible you didn’t click Update for each page after unchecking those options?

    Here’s the fastest way to remove the comments from all your current pages:

    1. Visit this page to see all your pages
    2. Click this check box to select all the pages.
    3. In the “Bulk Actions” dropdown menu, select “Edit” then click “Apply”
    4. In the Comments dropdown, select “Do Not Allow” then click Update (Example)

    The same steps can be used for Posts if you ever need to. :)
