How do i get rid of the gallery text that is showing to the right of my post?

  I’ve inserted a gallery into a post. Now it’s showing all the coding gobbledygook to the right in the sidebar. How do i keep the gallery but show the introductory text of the post on the right hadn side of the screen?

  Your ‘Bueno Featured posts Widget’ is set to show contact as: Excerpt. At the moment your post doesn’t have any content in its excerpt box.

  Please follow the steps in this guide and learn how to add text to your excerpt.

  Thank you. I still can’t figure it out though. Where is the excerpt module and the post editor? I don’t know what i’m looking for.

  Following the guide linked to above, if you don’t see an excerpt box, click the Screen Options tab near the top-right when writing or editing a post and make sure that “Excerpt” is checked.
