how do i get rid of the project descriptions on the portfolio homepage

  I want my site to display the same as the the Illustratr example

  how do I get it so when the portfolio homepage is shown the descriptions for each project aren’t shown underneath them?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  yes i have but can’t seem to find where to put the short codes for them to affect the portfolio homepage i have created.

  Did you manage to get this sorted out? I’m currently seeing the project title and categories below your portfolio items on the front page, but no descriptions, exactly like the demo site.

  thankyou all for your help,

  they don’t show up because i have deleted them from each project so that they didn’t show on the homepage.

  If you look on the site now i have added descriptions to a few of the projects and you will see that they do show up on the homepage also

  please help me

  Could you try choosing the Portfolio Page Template on your front page, by selecting it from the Page Attributes dropdown menu here:

  Currently you have the Default Template selected.

  You can also remove the shortcode from the page, since assigning the Portfolio Page Template will automatically display your projects in the right format.
