How do I get rid of the red "edit" link in my post?

  are there any “jedis” of wordpress that can help with a simple question?

  I can’t seem to get rid of the red “edit” link on my post. I want to send the permalink out to poeple to read and give me feedback, but it apprears taht I can’t seem to get rid of the edit feature in red from the post when I view it in dashboard?

  It’s an Admin link that only you can see when you are logged in. It’s for your convenience and your visitors cannot see it. You cannot remove it as it’s coded into the theme templates and we cannot edit templates or themes.
