How do i get rid of the text 'This is the post excerpt'

  I have created a blog post and added content, but the words ‘This is the post excerpt’ still appear even after it’s published. I want those words to be gone but I don’t know how to get rid of them. Any suggestions?

  Hi!

  To edit the post excerpt, go to the Blog Posts Dashboard:
  https://wordpress.com/posts/travelerbeercompany.wordpress.com

  Select your one of your blog posts, and in the left-hand column click on the “More Options” button.

  You will be able to edit the phrase, “This is the post excerpt.”

  Be sure to click the blue “Update” button at the top of the left-hand column after you’re done editing!
