How do I get rid of unwanted widgets in sidebar (Adventure Journal Theme)?

  How do I get rid of Archives and Meta widgets in my sidebar? I did not add them – they just showed up when I switched from left sidebar to right – and I can’t get rid of them. I’m using the Adventure Journal theme and my url is: daniellemeitiv.com

  Did it. It must have been a weird bug b/c when I switched from “secondary” to “primary” sidebar in the two column layout, it went away.

  Hi there,

  Some themes have default widgets, like the Archives and Meta widgets, that appear when you don’t have any other widgets in your sidebar. Adding a widget to your sidebar will automatically remove those default widgets for you.
