How do I get rid of white box behind links?

Hello,

I’m working with customizing the PressBox theme and I do not know how (or if I can) rid of the white background behind my links…
You’ll see what I mean if you go to my site,
theyoungandsassy.wordpress.com.

I would love to rid of the white and just have a transparent background.
Anyone have a solution?

What links are you taking about? I see stuff in the sidebar with white backgrounds and I see metadata in the posts area with white backgrounds. Clarify please.

The sidebar and the metadata. Basically I just don’t want any white background on anything whatsoever.
