How do I get text on my cover template?

In my previous post I should have asked about the cover template, not the cover page. My cover template has a solid color and I would like to add text. Please help. Thank you.

I hadn’t seen this topic before I answered on the other one. I’ll ask staff to close that thread.
Do you mean add the page title, or other text? The latter would require custom CSS.
On Twenty Twenty, on a page with the Cover Template assigned the text displayed on the image overlay is the page title. It will display unless the page title is hidden. At Customize > Homepage Settings, the box labeled “Hide Homepage Title” should be unchecked if you want the title to display.
Please note that on a site with a paid plan such as yours, 24 hour access to Live Chat Support is included. That might be easier and more expeditious for you than using the public forums.
