Hello @spencer3d2e441b8a,
I’d love to help you get it looking the way you want. Are you referring to this page?
https://sccmarkansas.wordpress.com/job-shop-and-custom-machining/
I checked it for you, and right now the image and text are placed in separate column blocks. That’s why the text isn’t wrapping around the image the way it does on http://www.springcreekinc.com.
To get a similar look, you’ll want to place both the paragraph blocks (your text) and the image block in the same column. Here’s an example of how it can look:
https://snipboard.io/Mc5dpQ.jpgAlso, once you’ve added the image, make sure its alignment is set to Right using the toolbar. This will allow the text to wrap around it properly. Here’s a step-by-step guide you can follow: https://wordpress.com/support/images/image-alignment/#wrap-images-and-text
One more thing I noticed, your text color and background are nearly the same, which makes the content hard to read. A quick improvement would be to use a lighter text color like white. You can follow this guide to update the text color: https://wordpress.com/support/block-color-settings/#access-the-color-settings
Let me know once you’ve tried these steps or if you want help adjusting the layout further. I’m here for it!

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, I’m still not getting it. First, can you tell me how / where you got the image below? I think that you are telling me that I need to set up both the Paragraph Block and the Cover Block in the same column.

This is the image that I get.
I have both the paragraph block and the cover block in the same group. Is that correct?

Thanks so much for the follow-up. I know this layout stuff can be a bit tricky at first, and I really appreciate you sticking with it.
To clarify: the image I shared earlier was a screenshot I created as an example, just to show how it could look when both the text and image are placed correctly within the same column block.
Right now, on your site (https://sccmarkansas.wordpress.com/), I checked again and the paragraph block and the image (or cover) block are sitting inside two separate column blocks. That’s why the text isn’t wrapping around the image; it’s because they’re not side-by-side in the same space.
Here’s what to try:
- Add a new Columns block.
- Inside one column, add both your image and paragraph blocks; that’s the key part.
- Select the image and click the alignment option in the toolbar to set it to Right.
Once both the image and the text are in the same column, and the image is aligned right, the text should wrap around it nicely.
You can also refer to this guide for help with aligning images: https://wordpress.com/support/images/image-alignment/#wrap-images-and-text
If you’re still running into issues, here’s a way to get us closer to the fix:
Open the List View in your editor, expand all the blocks, and take a screenshot of what you see there. That’ll help me check your current block setup and guide you from there.
Looking forward to hearing how it goes!
