How do I get the blogroll up and running?

    Hi all,
I am trying to get a blogroll happening. From whatever little I know a blogroll are links of some of my favourite bloggers. How do I get it happening?

I tried the FAQ and the forums but none of them fit the hat well. A step-by-step for the same would be much appreciated.

Add the blogroll widget, and either add addresses manually or click add to blogroll (top right corner) when you find a blog you’d like to add.

Add the links to the blog under your dashboard – manage>links. Then add the blogroll widget to your sidebar.

Many themes already have the Blogroll widget enabled by default as a part of the theme.

Before you add the Blogroll widget, start adding links as Vivian described under dashboard>manage>links>add new. Then look at your blog and see if your links appear in the sidebar under Blogroll or whatever it is called by default in the theme you’re using.

The only reason I know this is because I switched themes to “The Journalist” on my Random Acts of Photography blog and am using the theme’s defaults widgets. If I look in my Dashboard’s Design>Widgets, there are 0 widgets enabled and what appears in the sidebar of that blog are the theme’s default widgets.

Once you actually add a widget to a theme, *all* the default widgets for that theme are removed.

    Hi all,
I am using the default Kubrick theme

I did the first step :-

    1. Add links to Dashboard > Manage > links > add new
    2. Then went to Dashboard > Design > Widgets > added links

Firstly, has this been done the right way or something else left to be done?

Secondly how much time does it take for the changes to propogate?
