How do I get the changes I've made to my menu appear on my page?

  I’ve tried everything to add a category to my existing menu, but it will not display on my page. It shows up under all my admin stuff, but it just won’t appear on my blog. I then thought that perhaps the existing theme only allowed a certain number of categories to display on the site, so I tried deleting some. Those changes didn’t show up either. I’m not sure what to do. All I need to do is add one more category to the menu that appears on the sidebar of my blog. Any suggestions?

  It won’t appear on your blog until you create a post that is in that category.
