How do I get the facebook like box on the side box?

    Hi. Thanks for going through the query. I have a couple of questions

    1. How do I get the facebook like box on the side box? Currently, the social netwroking icons show up only at the bottom of the ‘about me’ page. I would like to have them show up either at the end of each blog or on the side bar.

    2. How do I get the categories in the side bar? I would want these to show up in different sizes if possible in a contained box. Currently, the categories show up below each blog.

    3. How can I put related links or other blogs on the side bar?

    4. How can I put links to sponsors websites with an image etc on the side bar?

    You can actually do all of these, except #4, through Appearance -> Widgets in your blog’s Dashboard. Here are the widget titles you need:

    1. Facebook Like Box

    2. Category Cloud

    3. Links

    If you require advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.
