How do I get the feature image to appear with the title of my post?

I have just published my 1st post, ever! My site is ” sundayschoolletters.com ” I have a feature image selected & it appears on my dashboard, but I don’t understand how to get it to come up with the title of my post??? Thanks! Bob

I took a look at http://sundayschoolletters.com/ and it appears as if your featured image is displaying properly above your text. Were you able to figure out the Featured Image display issue on your own? If so, good job! If not, explain the problem further and I can help.

Thanks for responding to my question , Robyn. I may be using the wrong terms? I have a ” blog” picture up which I thought was the picture that will first be seen when someone visits my site? But then I also have a “featured” picture on my dash board which I assumed was the pic. that would be above or right below the title of the post that I have published? Which in turn would be on the slider (Duet theme) if I so choose to place it there. And then as I publish other posts I could have a featured picture for each one as well? Does that make sense? ( I am learning all this)

I see. In this case, you do need to configure a few more options in your Customizer. You will want to setup your Post Display to show your featured image, as well as deciding how you want your featured slider to display. Here is what those screens/menus will look like:

Also, I do recommend working your way down the Duet support/set up page. There are so many bells and whistles with this theme, I don’t want you to miss any opportunities:

Thank you Robyn! That was exactly what I needed to know. It only took me about 1 min. to get the feature pic. up. I still can’t get the slider going, but i will work on that some more. Yes, I will go back to the Duet theme support/set up page & spend some time there. Thanks again for your quick response & clear explanation. Happy New Year! Bob
