How do I get the menu order to appear correctly in the header?
-
I know that there has been a lot of discussion re: menu order but, as much as I have tried, I cannot get the menu ordert hat I have created and saved in the menu settings to appear in the header. I am so frustrated, I could scream! Oh yeah, already did that.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Belinda! No more screaming :) To help you keep your voice, let’s work on the menu. Have you tried dragging and dropping your items here:
https://belindamiller.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.phpAnd then clicking Save Menu?
Let me know how that works for you.
Also, if things are still in a state of flux, please tell me the order in which you’re hoping the menu appears.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

Robin,
Okay, I promise no more screaming…just had a good glass of red, instead and went back to the menus page you directed me to. Everything still shows up just fine in all of the settings pages–not so much in the header! The order s/b: Phillip’s Quest, The Ragwort Chronicles, About the Author, Buy… and Belinda’s Blog. I dragged, I dropped, I saved. Thanks for your help. -
Aha! I see the issue. Your menu items are showing up in the order you placed them. However, your theme’s menu is right-justified. So, your first item (Phillip’s Quest) is in the top, right position…your second menu item is to the left of Phillip’s Quest, and so on and so forth.
You will have to drag and drop your items in the following order, I believe:
About the Author
The Ragwort Chronicles
Phillip’s Quest
Belinda’s Blog
Buy Phillip’s Quest and The RagwortsGive that a try. Maybe have another glass of wine first :)
